Made it to Florida.  It’s windy again.

Mark my words.  The most awesomestish rail to ever be built with one hammer and 24 nails is being built now.  Stay tuned to the site to be bamboozled.
Our annual CWB team week is about to start. The whole team comes to town and we do things other teams do. Things like putting five people on one surfboard and dragging it behind the boat, building a rail that teammates are the actual posts underneath it, and generally just trying to be super core wakeboarders. Which we may or may not be. Oh and we brainstorm, figure out, and shoot the team poster for the year.

The next six months will make you laugh.
Let the travels begin. Well I guess today officially kicks off the 09 season for me. I’m headed to CWC in the Phillipines for the 1st stop of the WWA World Series. It will be 36 hours before I arrive at wakeboarding heaven. Once there I will be keeping you updated with photos and words throughout the 10 day trip. I will be free riding, competing, and watching riders from over 30 different countries and bringing it to you right here on the blog. I will also have more photos posted on my website andrewadkison.com.
For now all I have is a quick pic from the Orlando airport. Don’t worry they’re going to get much more exciting as the trip goes on. Stay posted, Andrew
Some people have exciting night lives.  Partying, networking, watching TV past 9pm, actually leaving the house, etc…
These people however, are not up at 6am working on titles.  That, makes for a good time.

Myself Nick and a few others hit OWC today for a few hours of riding. I’m leaving for the Phillipines on Friday so I’m just craming in a ton of riding. We’ll be on the boat tomorrow so keep an eye out for some new photos in the afternoon.
Oh and be ready for a blogathon from the Phillipines!!!
Later, Andrew
This is a picture my friendly Justin Doornbos posted on facebook. The picture was taken from his dock and the sketch a-frame was in front of my house. That’s me getting dirty like its 2002 on it. Those were the good days back then. No responsibility except being the best rider I could be. And all the time in the world to do it. Normally those days it was just Justin, his cousin Zach and me. We always started out the glassy days with a super fast tubing session behind the Sea Doo giving each other gnarly whips all around the lake on the glassyness. Then after that it was normally three or four set each day. It was so much easier back then. With only three of us. Nowadays at any given time there can be five to eight riders looking to shred.
Welcome Rob Mapp to the short bus.

More soon..
Marius in Motion.

Big crew shredding the home waters of lake Ariana today. My CWB brethren
Bryan Hutton, and Nick Nick Jones came out for a set. Also about 5 other friends came out riding with us today. So basically we had a full boat day. I got my first sunburn of the season so that’s exciting, kinda. The only thing that could have made it a better day of shredding would be if Corey Bradley, Derek Gras, and T Hansen came out to slaysh as well. So guys if your reading this, come out for a ride before we leave for the Philipines!!! Later, Andrew

CWB in Motion 3.  Beginning stages of absorbing this program.  Allows for editing in a 3D plane, as well as migraine headaches.
I just recently moved down the street from my old house into a new house. Im pretty excited about it, and I think it going to be great. My new roommates are Spencer Smith, the world renowned photographer, and tech phenom Phillip Soven. We have been nesseled in our new spot for about a week now and have been riding everyday. Its nice to be riding better than Phil cause I spent most of the winter riding in Australia where its warm. We have also been shooting a whole lot with Spence. I also really want to make it down to Auberndale and ride with Andrew and his new whip, that boat looks sick.

So I hit the water this morning at 7:45 to shoot with WBM. Matt Hickman and Bill Doster made it happen for an awesome morning on Clear Lake.
It was the first morning this year that it was fully comfortable to ride without any sort of wetsuit. To top that off we had the entire lake to ourselves. I’ve attached a picture of the morning mission crew. However it was shot from my iPhone while gearing up so it’s not my best work but should give an idea of the morning.
I’m at the projects now and will keep you updated on how todays system 2 session goes. Andrew
