Started off the day with a succesful shoot with Bill Doster from WBM. Matt Hickman, Craig Katilnick, and Scott Stewart were all part of making it happen as well. Perfect morning for it and D-Dub was kind enough to share the lake with us since he was shooting as well. Great morning, good time and we did what we set out to do.
After the shoot I rode with Scott Stewart to wakegames and watched the qualifer. Wow, there was some good riding going on today. I’m prequalified thanks to a 5th place overall king of wake finish for 08. It gave me a unique chance to just be a spectator at a pro event without the pressure of worring about my own ride. I really enjoyed watching everyone. Most all of the CWB team qualified In as well.
Overall a good day and now were headed back to Auburndale to freeride.
Are you cold on the boat? Do you wonder….how can I keep warm? There are several ways to do so; heaters, move to Florida, only boat in June-July, but if you want the most functional and cost effective way to stay warm you have to turn to the most popular infomercial aside from the Slap Chop and the ShamWOW, you have to look at the SNUGGIE!!
My girlfriend’s grand mother handed off this “statue of liberty” colored gem and it’s a huge hit on the boat and the couch. Notice the freedom to use my hands, I can play with the iPod, drive the boat, get the boards off the rack, and signal the riders a solid thumbs up for their sick moves!!
Simply put as you northern stationed riders get ready to get on the water you must consider the SNUGGIE….imagine your hands free for that all important High 5 after the first set back from winter, the ability to signal a double up to the rider, and so much more, the options are endless…..get yours today and start posting your SNUGGIE on the boat pics…..it’s time to share this gem with everyone!

So I was in my office and my neighbor called…frantic…she asked me to run down to her house to see if the boat house was on fire….so I jumped in the rep mobile and jammed down the street….only to find that indeed the boat had caught fire, but it had broken the lift and floated out in the lake!!
So like any neighbor would do i jammed back tot he house to grab the Jet Ski and see what I could do to help the situation out. After consulting the bifougled firemen on shore they said go for it and I prceeded to put on a how to spray things demo with my Yamaha sit down. A side back story Bates and I used to get in trouble at Cypress Gardens for spraying audiences with the Sea Doos etc, so much that we’d blast them knocking off their glasses hats, wigs etc….we were good and we could pin point on one person in the audience, so a 20ft boat with 6-8′ flames licking off the top was no challenge, or so I thought. You see something else I learned is that fiberglass and the components of a boat are largely petroleum based….so it took almost sinking the damn boat to put it out, not to mention the fact that the neighbor said he’d heard some explosions, and I was smelling gas…so I was a little concerned, but courage prevailed….I put that damn thing out and then proceeded to tow it back to their house…..hindsight I wish I had done some ollies over the flames, that would have been rad….any way shortly after all the drama was done Jeff House and Derek Grasman showed up to see what was up….the whole town heard of the experience and I thought you all should too…..pics below, moral of the story…well there isn’t one, I just had fun playing in the water with fire, unfortunatley at my neighbors’ expense, but it got the heart rate up on a somewhat laid back Friday afternoon.

We were doing the clinic series last week in Winter Haven Florida. Steve Bates parents live in Winter Haven as well so lucky for me I never have to drive more than five minutes during that week. The problem is two riders live an hour away from Winter Haven and are not stoked about having to make the drive every morning. But hey 80 percent of the team lives in the Winter Haven area now so whats the point of making us all leave. Heres Andrew, Stu, and Zane talking about something unimportant. Andrews happy. He’s a newlywed.
Today we are working on a warning to keep you from trying to ride a unicycle across a couple tubes or build a rail that can remove your legs. Take heed. If you feel as though you want to do these things, we told you not to.

Back to Florida on Wednesday to attend another super great wakeboard contest as well as wrap up some needed footage. FYI, the sarcasm runs deep in my blood.
More innovatednessess coming soon…

I arrived back home mid day yesterday from the kick off of the 09 WWA World Series which brought me to CWC in the Phillipines for 10 days. The trip, tournament ,and sight were amazing. However it’s now 3 a.m. on Wednesday morning and I am wide awake. This jet lag is going to take a few days to shake.
Later on in the day today I’ll be posting my full update of the amazing trip. For now I’ll leave you with an early morning picture from CWC and I’m going to make an attempt at getting back to sleep.
