Buzz Hawk!

After 7 years of having the same hair cut, i recently decided it was time for something new. inspired by the rest of the cwb teams dashing new looks, i decided to go for a full out clean cut buzz. half way through the cutting process i thought, maybe i dont wanna be so clean cut, maybe i wanna have a look that says im formal but i also like to party. nothing says that better than the Chuck Lidell buzzhawk. i have some in between shots i can put up in a couple days that are pretty funny. but here is a quick web cam shot of the final product… could i be chuck lidells son? you be the judge.. haha

Herber Fest

Its 7:20 am and I am sitting in the airport getting ready to board a flight to Little Rock. I am going to be there for the weekend doing clincs and riding in the Herber Wake Fest. They have done a ton of promoting and have got some awesome prize money. It’s going to be an awesome weekend so if you aren’t already planning on coming pack up your truck and come on out.

Holy Fish!

I an down in Longboat Key this week with my wife for some relaxing beach time. Yesterday we were swimming in the gulf in about 3 feet of water just standing and enjoining the water. While we were standing there a while bunch of little bait fish were swimming around and in between us. I don’t know what scared the fish but all of a sudden like 5 fish ran in to me at a pretty fast speed and the I realize that there was one in my shorts! I reached down and grabed my shorts and was able to catch the fish with my hand and then after laughing for a few minutes let him go. So the moral of the story is. Don’t wear a speedo in the ocean because not only do you look ridiculous but you won’t be able to catch any fish!

World Games 100,000 plus crowd tonight

I’ve been in Kaohsiung, Taiwan for the past week for the World Games. It has been a seriously impressive production. The city has put 8 years and $200,000,000+ into a 7 day sporting event. They were kind enough to have wakeboarding along for the ride. We just finished up the closing ceremony tonight with 100,000 plus people in and around the stadium for the closing.
There was an army of volunteeres to help us with any and everything we needed. The games themselves actually had 4000+ volunteeres.
The riding was from an impressive and international field. 16 countries were represented and in the end I was fortunate enough to come away with the gold.
I snapped a ton of photos on my actual SLR camera but for now I will leave you with an Iphone photo of the closing ceremony.
I’m heading to Tokyo, Japan tomorrow morning so I’ll keep some pics and updates coming. Andrew
P.S. I feel like I need to mention how amazing not only Trevors new haircut is but also his expression that really puts emphasis on the fact that is this best haircut of all time, and he knows it.

Longest mainline question.

Drew and his crew sent us an email today claiming they have put together a 600′ mainline. Ã‚Â I went to middle school twice, so I did the math and figured out that is roughly twice the length of our innovative Proline 300′ mainline. Ã‚Â Now I’m not sure if Drew is trying to infringe on our patent, but he better go back to the drawing board as Proline is working hard for a newÃ‚Â productÃ‚Â to release in 2010 that will make his look sophomoric.

You may hold the record now young man, but we’re coming in hot.
