I’m back to riding, and really kicked it off this weekend. On friday, my good friend from Nebraska, Ben Bazis, came into town to ride for abit. Ben was featured in Ronnie Ramaro’s video SNAFU, and definitely kills it….especially on rails. I’d recently received a new vide (CWB’s new press board) and was wanting to try it out, so we headed out to Tampa cable in the morning. After spending all day on it, we were beat, and started heading back to orlando. Once there, and after an amazing meal at Chic fila, we decided to head to OWC. It was awesome, completely empty. By the end of the day i think my rail riding skills doubled, and had to be one of the most fun days i’ve had riding. Pretty crazy considering i didn’t ride boat or do any airtricks. I guess its all about the friends your with, and the flex board probably helped.

Friday, November 6th, 2009Steve Bates my CWB team manager is becoming pretty much a media mogul. He shoots all the CWB_TV videos and edits them. As well as managing the team and shooting lifestyle of it all. The lifestyle is more for just us though. Every time I talk to him he is dealing with new stuff or new cameras. He had a small Sony and then a P2 and now he got this little gem. A Canon 7D I think. It’s a very high end picture camera and also shoots high definition video. Which is crazy. And the quality is unreal. Like this shot he took of me the other day just driving the boat. Yeah Anon. It’s really rad having Steve get into all this because I am also getting into it but he is far more advanced than me but he is able to show me things in a avery simple way. And explain things to me a lot easier than I could get from reading a book. He goes over the top a million times compared to any other team manager. And he’s funny as shit.
