Austin, TX was the host of the 2010 Collegiate Wakeboard Nationals – 16 teams nation wide competed and battled it out for the national title. CWB was a primary sponsor so I decided to show up and spread the love. The CWB booth was going off. We teamed up right next to the U of Texas tent, and we were the life of the party for sure. We had tons of giveaways, plenty of boards on display for everyone to pick up and check out, and a huge raffle for some of the new 2010 CWB gear. The crowd was psyched. It felt good to give back and support the riders. Congrats to all the teams that qualified, and congrats to the University of Texas team for taking it home and keeping it the title in Texas.

Watch Gabe Lucas and Clay Fletcher shred The Projects Camp on CWB’s Good Vibes Tour, which has the pair traveling through Florida and Texas introducing riders to the new CWB Vibe wakeboard.
For those who claim that everything’s bigger in Texas, the party surrounding the 2010 Corpus Christi Wakeboard Invitational was proof positive. Gabe Lucas took 2nd place at this years event! 90 degree temperatures and the beautiful Texas coast provided the perfect atmosphere for a party only Texas could throw! The stadium seating at the famous Corpus Christi Marina, along with luxury yachts, fishing boats and endless docks all provided top tier seating with amazing views of the action as the Texas Ski Ranch crew rocked the marina along with the some of the best wakeboarders in the country. The only distraction may have been all the pretty Texas girls soaking up the late spring sunshine.

We just wanted to thank everyone that entered Win Gabe's Ride contest, but there could only be one winner…. Congrats to April Ricks! She won a new 2010 Vibe, Answer boots, Proline LG Package, CWB Corp Tee, and CWB MLB Hat! Gabe Lucas personally picked out April Ricks as the winner – why? Well read on….
I should win Gabe's ride because my husband needs a new one. Last year when the economy went to the pits his hours got cut at work and we needed money to pay some bills. He sold his one true love (his CWB wakeboard and bindings) so that he could provide for his family. Wakeboarding is his love and to win a new one for him would make his year!! Also it would be a way for me to tell him thank you for taking care of his family by selling his wakeboard. Please pick me to win Gabe's ride. It's CWB or bust at our house!!! ~ April Ricks
Easy enough, you gotta do what you gotta do to make ends meet – we all have been there in these tough times. So, do you have a good reason to win – Andrew or Robby's Ride? Sign up now! Or maybe your old kicks are in need of repair…. Win a pair on Gen-6 Boots!
Clay Fletcher gets dirty in the projects rail park like never before. Clay’s unique style blends his rocker attitude with his smooth banjo skills into one of the sickest rail riders I know. Make sure to catch Clay Fletcher on the Good Vibes Tour, and try out the new CWB Board Co. Vibe park board!

We at CWB Board Co. are stoked that Spring has finally arrived! After months of cold, rain, and generally being stuck indoors, we are more than ready to stretch our legs and get in our first pull of the year. To kick off the season, we are serving up 3 contests for our fans to score brand new 2010 CWB Board Co. gear! You want to ride in the Mastercraft pro tour like Andrew Adkison? We've got you covered. Maybe session a 10 foot dam spillway with a winch – Gabe Lucas style? Check. Or freeride Lake Billy Chinook with Mt. Bachelor in the background just like Robby Carter? Not a problem. How to win? It's easy – just click on the riders below to enter!
Check out the X-SLOW-MO at 0:35!!! Stuart Mooney had the chance to take Gabe Lucas to one of his fave winch spots to hit. He had to drive the winch and film it but was still able to capture some sweet hits from the Gabe.

Cairns, Australia is more beautiful than you could imagine. Mountains, waterfalls, rain forest, tropical waters, and the Great Barrier Reef. Amongst all this land runs many fresh rivers. With the local crew we took the one and only Cairns winch out into the unknown and charged it. The winch was a little “under the weather” so to speak but we still went out into the wild and had a go. It was an exciting day to say the least. Thanks to Sam Collins, Clayton, and the rest of the boys for the good times and navigation.

Yup – that’s right, 3 ways to win a truck load of gear. In the month of March, we are serving up Andrew Adkison, Gabe Lucas, and Clay Fletcher’s rides for you to score! It’s easy. Click on the riders pics below and fill out the forms. That’s it! No gimmicks, games, or spending a half of a day making a podcast. A podcast you say? We know you’re busy! Some companies like you to make silly videos about their products to win stuff. I guess they don’t have the time to make videos themselves. We have lots of videos. We make all our own videos w/ our pro riders, so you don’t have to. But I regress.
In case you want to watch a video about the products we are giving away, I’ve posted them for your viewing pleasure.
Gabe Lucas – Vibe 142 w/ Answers
Andrew Adkison – Transcend 138 w/ AA
Ok – I lied, Andrew’s clinic isn’t done yet, you can blame Steve Bates for that. But here is Andrew being funny which is more interesting to watch than this podcast.
Clay Fletcher – Vibe 142 w/ Answers
Rowdy cricket match in Sydney last night. Rolling about 20 Aussies deep, it was anything but boring. Thanks to dean smith for setting that up. And also thanks to the Wing family for hosting us while in Sydney.
After taking care of business and visiting the board shops in Sydney, Justin and I now continue the VIBE tour up north. Flying to Cairns tonight. Meeting up with Sam “Bo Bo” Collins and invading his territory.

Only been in OZ land for two days and we are already winching. I love it. They are on it over here. Thanks to Penrith cable operator and good friend Earl Ball we were winching in no time. As soon as I arrived, Earl called up local wakeskater Stu, who owned the only winch that we knew of in the area. Stu had built his winch from scratch, and what a fine job he did. We also grabbed Shawn Watson who had just arrived in the country and was super keen to winch with us, and off we went to shred. The spot was a waterfall along the Penrith river (only 10 min from the cable park). Shawn and i found a little ledge at the top edge of the water fall. It was not long enough to slide but it was just right for a jib and drop. The landing area was a little sketchy at the bottom and close to a concrete slab, but we put the game faces on and did work. Making it happen in oz. Good day. No photos of myself or Watson. But we got video and you will prob see it soon here at ridecwb.com, but until then here are some pretty crappy photos I took of local wakeskaters. Goodday mate!!!
I am so excited to be here in Australia, But what is just as crazy is how many people are riding my board. I have been riding the cable here in Penrith (outside of Sydney) for the last few days and I have seen my board all over the place. It is pretty crazy to see people riding my board on the other side of the world. So good to see a positive reaction. Here is a picture of a Penrith local (Chris Flaxman) with his board of choice, the CWB VIBE. Just one of the many satisfied customers.
