In the first stop of the South African Pro Wakeboard Tour at Germiston Aquatic Club on Lake Victoria welcomed a new season of professional wakeboarding.

Alliance wakeboard mag was there with all the coverage and Josh Palma from CWB Board Co. was there and took second place.

The first annual FreezeRide at TSR (Texas Ski Ranch) was a huge success this year.  CWB Board Co. team rider, Gabe Lucas took first place in the Wakeboard boat division without even getting wet.  Gabe stomped all his airs and finished by riding into the shore staying dry and warm.

It's about time wakeboarders get a cable park on the west coast!  Desert Wake is in full production working hard to complete five lakes by Spring 2011.  A combination of cable parks and boat lakes will consume most of the property but there will also be a skate park, golf range and pools for all.

To top is all off, the pro shop will be completely stocked with CWB Board Co. products including the very popular Cable specific Vibe and xFaction boards.

On January 8th wakeboard enthusiasts strapped in for the Third Annual Polar Bear Ride and raised money for Wishing Star.

Even in the cold, amenities made wakeboarding in January bearable. Riders bundled up under dry suits and huddled around massive heaters between sets. The hotel hot tub, coffee and hot cocoa also helped get our blood flowing. Everyone downed about five cups of coffee prior to riding.

The Polar Bear Ride (PBR) is by far one of our favorite NW wakeboard events, not just because we are riding in January, but because it feels great to get on the water for a cause. We are still waiting on the final numbers, but last we heard we raised over $1500 for a child in need.

Tri-City Riders, Sporthaus, Malibu Boats, CWB Board Co. and the Clover Island Hotel all made this event possible. A huge thank you to them!

CWB's, Gabe Lucas just gave us the update from the Philippines at CWC reporting from the Ultimate Wake Championship.

"Everyone's riding has been unreal," Gabe mentioned.  Gabe already made it past the first round of the rail ponds competition and so far it's looking pretty good.

Andrew Adkison, Trevor Hansen, Gabe Lucas, Nick Jones and Kaesen Suyderhoud all met up with C-Lo, CWB Board Co.'s dealer/distributor from Stoked. They made their way to the local shop for introductions and autographs. 

There will soon be video footage from all the action at Camsur Watersports Complex.

January 20 – 23, 2011- An Alabama tradition since 1972,  the Birmingham Boat Show featuring special guest appearances from CWB Board Co.'s, Derek Grasman.  Guests can get photos and autographs from this pro wakeboarder at the boat show.

A new winch spot was recently discovered in Eugene, OR.  A few of the guys had to go check it out even though full wetsuits were mandatory with the frigid temps.  Check out their video.  Featuring riders: Zak Stone, Jake Southard, Dan Klopp and AJ Westlund.

January 19-23, 2011C.W.C. is hosting the WWA Ultimate Wake Championship 2011.  For those who don't know what the CWC is, it's the Camsur Watersports Complex in Camsur, Philippines. 

It's got all the amenities including a winch park, a cable park and a lake for a boat.  Three bodies of water with specializing in everything you can imagine.

CWB will be sending the Vibe's Gabe Lucas to this event.
