I recently began construction on my very own winch, which has now turned into a roller coaster ride of a project thats hopefully nearing its end.  It began when I found an old 8hpr honda  off a broke down concrete mixer,  some scrap metal, other thrown together parts, and about 600 ft of spectra rope conviently provided by CWB wakeboards and Pro Line, with great appreciation. It all came together with the help of a fellow local  skate shredder Zack Pennington and his metal fabricating father Dan P. Its been a trial and error project for the past few days trying to get all of the kinks worked out, but when your dealing with old parts off of lawn mowers and disasembled garage doors, there can be alot of kinks, trust me. After having repeated issues with getting the clutch working and the belt tight enough, we finally got a decent pull out of it today on a backroad canal that has now become our winch test lab. And did i mention all my costs so far has totaled at $120, including the engine, beat that grinch.

Just had a sick weekend in portland for the Wake Jam Double up event. Right in downtown portland on the waterfront, good location, good weather, fmx show, beer garden, rough water, good riding. ended up 5th overall won a little sKrilla!  danny harf 1st, watkins 2nd, chad sharp 3rd, jimmy larich 4th, robby c 5th, valdez 6th, randall harris 7th, rusty 8th.

Oklahoma is hot.
